Last night there was only about an inch or two on the doghouse. Then it started to snow with a vengence around 2am and it did not stop. It is now about 1530 hrs and I took this pic a few hours ago. Rosco has been spending most of the day inside the house today. Can hardly kick his hairy butt outside. He's no dummy.

Built this fine cat play thingy this weekend for Cyndi and her cats (Cleopatra, Larry and Tiberius). She hope it will stop the critters from scratching the stairs. The post came from her garage and the carpet was just laying around my garage. Recycling, its easy to do.

Just put the primer on the trim this weekend.Have to put the final coat of paint on then pour the small concrete patio.Then I will cal it a day. Was going to paint the shingles the same color as the main house but that has changed. Not only does the natural shingle look nice, but if Rosco decides to chew on it (better not) he wont get paint in his bod.

More and more people are seeing the benefits of getting away from tobacco and going green. Green Smoke, that is! Rosco P's dog house is almost complete.Still need to insulate the upper storage area and put some hinges on the access lid which will will enable me to get into his sleeping area.Also need to put the screen material under the eaves for proper ventilation. This is my nieces 1970 Bug. She is at school in Oregon and it is her daily driver. I get the pleasure of helping her to keep it running and tuned up. That is especially kewl since I don't get to drive my bus at this time. Its got a 1776 in it. I did the install on a long block a few years ago. It looks great and run even better!

The split-level for Rosco P. will soon be ready to move into. Likeley in 2 weekend worth of effort. The interior still needs to be insulated and interior panels cut and placed. Although the nest step will be to place the roog shilgles on it. The back side is still open as it sure makes it easier getting inside! More to follow.

I have had this plant for over 15 years.In that time, it has only bloomed 4 times before.It is a CLIVIA.Recently it has also developed 3 new shoots coming out of its base.Am going to attempt to get a couple of starts from the new shoots.

I adopted him from a friend who got him from a friend that had found the poor little guy abondened in a parking lot.Some peoples kids.The vet says he is a Shephard-Chow mix. He is smart as a whip and is the best security system you can have to keep the bad guys out of my yard.:)
